I'm a woman that has struggled with my weight since childhood. Now, at 41, I've decided that enough is enough! I've raised three kids and can't use the excuse that it is just baby weight I gained after my youngest was born (almost 18 yrs ago!!!). It's not. I recently saw a picture of my youngest when she was 5 years old and me. Let me tell you...there was much less of me and I had only one chin then!! My increasing weight has been a work in progress. I'm a woman that has struggled with my weight since childhood. Now, at 41, I've decided that enough is enough! I've raised three kids and can't use the excuse that it is just baby weight I gained after my youngest was born (almost 18 yrs ago!!!). It's not. I recently saw a picture of my youngest when she was 5 years old and me. Let me tell you...there was much less of me and I had only one chin then!! My increasing weight has been a work in progress. My highest weight loss achievement of 20 lbs was on Weight Watchers about 3 years ago.... I found the 20 lbs since then plus I have a bonus 10 lbs on top of that now! I'm Puerto Rican and married 20+ years to my hubby who is Mexican. I blame my mom-in-law and her fabulous food for my thickness! I love her & her food! Oh, let's not forget my mami & her sinfully delicious food. Okay... okay.... I admit it........ I'm addicted to food....... I love all food.... It’s a weakness! These bad habits and weaknesses have been a work in progress over the years and I know if I don't change my habits, my future will be compromised. I'm DONE! So here's to loving (less of) my body & loving (more of) life one healthy bite at a time and one step at a time...progressing to a healthier thinner me! Salud! (raising my bottle of water) I look forward to sparking every day to keep my head on straight!
