The garden girl tends to herself.

I am a 55 year old nature girl that found the needle stuck on the scale.
All my old tricks for dropping the weight have stopped working and I am looking for new ways to drop the pounds! This middle age hormone thing has set up new challenges, but I am up for it and appreciate the support of others facing their own struggles.
I love the shock factor of surprising people with looking different from the last time they saw you...in a good way! It is a fantastic feeling and I can't ...

Update:
So, I lost a few. I gained a few. I lost a few, I gained a few.
This is an improvement over staying the same, at least!:)

Now on to keeping it down!
Going at it again. I am not discouraged , but challenged. I LOVE challenges! Watch me go!!

Keeping the vision firmly in mind!

I know, I know, I know...but radish leaves can be eaten. Poor me I threw them away. Radish, ???gallo, goat cheese on 1/2 of gluten free toasted English muffin. Try it; something is missing let me know what it is.

I'm playing around with grains. My new food is Farro. I just bought it today. Cooks like rice, but wash first and remove the floating grains. It's bigger than millet and quinoa so I'd like to try it in the place of brown rice which is higher in carbs. I also purchased red quinoa. I think it would look better in my black bean and wild rice. White quinoa looks like worms in it. emoticon

I did so much walking today; my left leg said elevate, my right leg said I can't take another step. I have a new love. Lamp posts, no parking post, kiosh?, tree and electrical log. emoticon whew! Thanks for the stepper.
