My program is to exercise 3 to 5 times a week and to watch my calories.

Weight training 3 times a week and cardio 3 to 4 times a week.

Personal Information:
Living in Florida, but originally from the caribbean. Trying to wean myself from the American "dinner" tradition.

Other Information:
I'm one of those people that go through yo-yo dieting... A LOT!

But I am trying. I would like to fit into a size 10. Size 8 would be my minimum. I'm not sure what the scale would say at that point, but I would be happy with it.

Hey girl! Thanks for the words of encouragement. Yes, I'm officially in Onederland! It's been a long time coming but I'm here now! It's exciting. I can't wait to see what I look like in the 180s! Thanks again for the encouragement. I'm feeling really good about 2010! Stay in touch!

Hi! It's so good to hear from you. I had to look up Curacao to learn more about it. From what I read, it's beautiful. I would love to shave 2-3 minutes off my time. Girl, I'd be elated if I finished a 5K in less than 40 minutes! Anything in the 30s...39:55 would be fine with me.

I've finished Week 2 on the podcast and it is time to move into Week 3. I don't know if I'll start Week 3 or repeat Week 2. With Christmas being this week, I know that I'll be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off and I may not find the time to get my run in. I will play it by ear.

I don't know what to tell you about the shorter distances and the boredom because I feel the same way that you do about that. You are so right about it being too bad that we can't run races with each other. Although you'd leave me in the dust, it would be motivational to know that I'd have a friend at the finish line.

Happy Holidays to you too!

Hi! Glad to hear from you! Thanks for the encouraging words on my blogs! Girl, I am working hard on my "running". I'm "wogging" now walk/jogging. LOL. I am determined to decrease my time on my next 5K in January. I've decided to start over with C25K program using Robert Ullrey's podcasts. I'm in Week 2, Day 1. I'm coming along. You are on the ball with your jogging! I want to be just like you when I grow up. LOL. Stay in touch and take care!

***Just read your comment on my page. I will keep blogging about my races. I'm doing the Museum of Aviation's 5K in Warner Robins in January. Good luck on your 10K! I will be doing my first 10K on the last Saturday in March 2010. Yay for us! We can do this!
