CrissTheTealCat gets healthy and stays healthy.

I want to be active again. I don't want to be out of breath walking 5 blocks downtown. I want to be my right weight or close to it. I want to heal from my plantar's fasciitis and other joint pain I have from being overweight. I don't want to get diabetes (and it runs in my family!) I want to hike more often and walk on the soft sand at the beach and not panic at potlucks and cook at home again (at least sometimes!).....yeah, OK and I want to get those bins of smaller clothes out of the ...

So, I admit, I got a LITTLE off track of my sparkFriends during my three weeks of hectic working two jobiness. But I'm settling back into the social side of this and I DEMAND an update!

Hope you're settling in well and building healthy new habits!!

Been meaning to post this for a few days (can never get it to work from my phone). Anyway, you're welcome to rant anytime. I really should be the one apologizing as I'm the one who started the "Cats DO have emotions" spinoff on the message thread. Again, the geekiness in me really gets peeved when people state the "not wholly proven" with the thought that *they* know it true. And while she may never have met a depressed cat, I certainly have.

As for the advice - don't worry too much about bringing the cats indoors. Lke virtually all other species (lol - with or without emotions), they tend to adapt to their surroundings in the best way possible. And we are talking cats here, so their adaptation really only means that they are able to sleep, eat, sleep, sleep, play with a toy, sleep, sleep, hock up a hairball, sleep, sleep, go expel their their digestive secretions, and sleep. LOL - they don't really have too much adapting to do.

Now, how to make it easier for them? Well cats are certainly HAPPY and capable of LOVE when the get it from their parents. Just keep them feeling groovy and they'll have no problem living indoors.

Alan
