To lead a more active and healthier lifestyle!
Cardio: Joined 5k Virtual Runs. This time I have joined the Trick or Treat Trot.
Aug 7th: Completed the virtual 5K run in 32:54 min.
Sept 23: Completed virtual 5K run in 29:07 min.
I improved my time by almost 4 minutes. For the Trick or Treat Trot I would like to improve again by another 3-4 minutes.
To do this: I have joined the 5K run your way running program. Its the same program I completed last time, but this time I am going to be working on my speed as well as focus on training uphill runs. I'll still be running between 6 and 7 mph while adding in a sprint day and hill day! Also going to focus on runners strength exercises.
I will continuewith my workout videos with a mix of strength training most days of the week.
Goal 1: To lose 25 bls by October 15, 2012.
I will accomplish this by working out everyday, even if its just for 20-30 min. This will keep me on track.
Also by tracking my food.
Goal 2: To lose an additional 20-25 lbs by January 19th. My 27th Birthday!
for stopping by my Skinny Rules # 9 blog. I, too, am not a fan of no carbs. But Harper's "no carbs after lunch" rule has sparked something in me - skinny rule # 7 in case you wanted to read it. I'm not going to do "no carbs after lunch" but I am pondering and experimenting a bit with no carbs for dinner. Good to know of someone who does eat that way.
Light bulb! Duh, that is a great idea to measure now, why not? I did hang on to one pair of pants from the beginning, so that would give me a good idea where I stand! Thanks for all the support, I need it on a day like today!
