Ankles? Who needs ankles anyway?

Well, after 4 ankle surgeies on my left ankle since 2001, 3 in the past 3 years, I have decided that instead of only focusing on my recoverying and strengthening my ankle...I am going to focus on getting back in shape. Actually, that was my focus 3 years ago when I was going to get back into shape and instead started a cycle of having ankle surgeries.

The bad news is that my right ankle ligaments are also blown out so I might need the same surgery (hopefully without the 2 extra ...

Plus, there is a good chance my left ankle will always limit what I am able to do. That wont be clear for years and taking off more weight will also likely make a big difference in that department as well.

Be able to regularly walk 10,000+ steps every day without ankle pain or swelling.

My Program:
Focusing on eating healthier foods, keeping healthier foods around (I've always liked fruits and veggies, just have to have them available), and exercising 6 days a week.

Welcome to The Chair Exercise Team!!!
We are an active and friendly team and love our exercise .. we not only cater for disabilities, a lot of our members just love the chair exercise and the camaraderie of this team.
We are here to help you to realise your dream of fitness and health in fact, we encourage exercise of some sort or another.
This help to keep the heart rate up and the blood flowing through our bodies.

I just wanted to post a quick Welcome to the Chair Exercise TEAM. We're so glad to have you join us. Please jump in and have a good time getting healthy. This is an excited group of folks and really active team so you should be able to find all sorts of inspiration and motivation. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
