SparkPeople and I have been on this journey that I call a roller coaster ride for almost 2 1/2 years now. And what I mean by that is that I love SP! And it has helped me reach so many goals! But once I get there, I stop Sparking because I feel like I'm a different person and then I end right back where I started!

But once I get there, I stop Sparking because I feel like I'm a different person and then I end right back where I started!

I married my best friend and soulmate in August 2010 and can proudly say I was at my goal weight! I even thought I looked a little bit too thin! But I was proud of myself and all of the work I had done to get there. And then came the honeymoon! I stopped paying attention to the little things (like what I put in my mouth!) I stopped exercising like I had before the big day. And that's when I jumped right back on the roller coaster, plummiting to the bottom of that huge hill! Now, a little over 20 lbs and 9 months later, I'm starting that climb back up to the top.

But this time I feel it's going to be different. I am realizing that I'm getting older and my body is changing. I don't shed weight or inches like I used to. And retain a lot more that did before. I have pooches that have NEVER existed in my entire life! And I just don't feel healthy anymore! It's time to live healthy and not worry about the pounds or the inches (an added bonus of course!)! Healthy is the most important thing! Especially since the baby talk has been happening a lot more lately. But I can't have a baby if I'm not healthy! I won't do that to myself or to a baby. So I'm making a LIFESTYLE CHANGE!

My 27th Birthday is 69 days away and I want to be at/close to my goal weight by then! Heck, I'd settle with feeling better and more fit! After all, that's what really matters! Let the countdown/shred down begin!

Thanks so much for the blog comment. I actually have been slacking with C25k but I plan to start back up on week 6 tomorrow. I'm going to try and focus more on reaching the distance instead of just getting done in 30 mins and not reaching the distance. How's C25k been going for you? Keep it up!!
