People who do the most "fat shaming" often don't realize that sometimes, there's a reason for a person's weight gain. I had sleep apnea, and as part of sleep apnea, you can gain weight, which leads to bad sleep, which means more weight gain. A yucky cycle. Losing weight and tackling the sleep apnea gave me a healthy body AND great sleep!
And yes, technically I need to be 155 pounds or less to be "Healthy" on the BMI! It's absolutely nuts, but I don't worry all that much about it. My doctor is aware and thinks I'm A-OK!! 960 days ago
