Shared Food & Fitness Trackers
Update: July 23, 2010: Over the past three months I have managed to make fitness more of a routine then it has been in a very long time. I had 16 sessions with a body building personal trainer which I just finished. I've increased my protein intake to at least 100g/day which has helped me gain significant muscle, especially on my back half (back, shoulder, etc). And while I am significantly stronger then I was 3 months ago, I've only lost about 4% body fat and 2 pounds on the scale. In August I will be in Canada for 2.5 weeks visiting with family, and am really nervous about how that's going to affect both my workout regime and my nutrition. I know that tracking my food here will help me incredibly-they say 75% of weight loss results come from food intake and boy do I know it!-but every time I think about how much I need to do it, I feel like I'm hitting my head against a brick wall. But I'm hoping if I can track my food and ensure that I eat the correct portions of carbs and proteins then the fat will begin to disappear again.
After regaining 24 pounds over the last year, (but mainly in the last 5 months or so) I need to rediscover the motivation and focus I once had. My best friend is getting married in July and yes, I want to look hot in my maid of honour dress, though it hasn't really been much of a motivation over the last couple months as I've watched the scale go up and up. I need to figure out why my eating is out of control like I never remember it being, and get it back under MY control. I need to start making exercise daily or at least 5 days a week of full workouts.
Maintenance and self-control while I'm working 70-80 hour weeks.
Calorie control and exercise on the rare occasions I'm not working 18 hour days.
Born in montreal, lived in Mississauga, ontario until 14, Pittsburgh until i was 22, Naples, FL for 8 months, and finally Tempe, AZ.
I love movies, reading, and animals especially wolves, dogs and horses.

Hello! I hope Canada is/was fun! (Depending on when you read this.) I'm doing well. I started to hula hoop with a weighted hoop, but the impact of it is pretty heavy on my abdomen, so I am going to wait until I've had my final check up to make sure everything is okay. Hope you're doing well with exercise and food, even though you're on vaca!
