Me, simplified.
Anyone who says you can't lose significant weight after the age of 50 is just plain dead WRONG! I lost 120 pounds. How did I do it? I ate less and moved more. Simple changes, yes. Simple to do? Hell no! I've gained 30 of it back, which means I struggle with maintenance, but am taking steps to lose it again (and a bit more).

My Goals:
I'd love to have a firm, fit body and the work required to keep it there become a natural, everyday process.
My Program:
I am focusing my diet on lean cuts of meat, whole grains, low fat dairy, salads, and fruits and vegetables. I do very little cooking, preferring naturally processed food. I attend a weekly yoga class, practice yoga at home and also do strength training and power walking most days of the week.
Personal Information:
I was born in Nashville, TN (Music City, USA) and moved to Knoxville, TN to go to college. I still live in this area because I love it here. It's beautiful here with warm, wonderful people and plenty of things to see and do.
Other Information:
I love to read, especially books that teach me something. I also love fiction and am a BIG fan of the Twilight Saga! Go Team Edward!!!
