the most awful pic of me. Looking at this reminds me to stick to my program.

People say cats are lazy. I don't see it. My cat uses the treadmill everyday.

Tough Love, Live It:
Here comes tough love. This is for me because I always say I “slipped” or “fell off the wagon” or “just HAD to eat (fill in food here) because of this (fill in event here)”. 1. It is not that effing hard. Giving up heroin is hard. Beating cancer is hard. Drinking your coffee black. IS. NOT. HARD. It’s for the most important cause on earth – the only physical body I will ever have in this lifetime. So suck it up. 2. I will not say I “slipped”. Unless I physically ...
Unless I physically tripped and my face landed in a bag of Hershey Kisses, I DID NOT SLIP. I made a choice to eat something of poor quality. It’s always a choice, so I will not phrase it as if I had an accident. Commit here. 3. I never, ever, ever HAVE to eat anything I don’t want to eat. I'm a big girl. Toughen up. Learn to say No Thank You. Learn to stick up for myself. Just because it’s my sister’s birthday, or my best friend’s wedding, or my neighborhood Fourth of July party does not mean I have to eat anything. It’s always a choice, and I would think that I stopped succumbing to peer pressure in 10th grade. 4. This does require a bit of effort. I have to make sure that my vitamins and nutrients are balanced, that I am getting enough protein, fat and carbohydrates. I'll have to figure out what to eat for lunch, how to order at a restaurant and how often I'll need to grocery shop. I take responsibility for my own plan. Improved health, fitness and performance doesn’t happen just because I'm now taking a pass on chocolate.
