Ascending into the Madness
In October of 2009, I made a decision to fully restart my *Fitness Life*. I contacted a personal trainer and handed my life over to her. At that time, I also began a blog to track my progress, restarted tracking and relating on Spark People and quit looking backwards. Everything was going just fine until the end of April when my dad was diagnosed with Stage IV Glioblastoma. That's the worst possible brain tumor imaginable. We had a really rough summer and then on August 9, ...
In October of 2009, I made a decision to fully restart my *Fitness Life*. I contacted a personal trainer and handed my life over to her. At that time, I also began a blog to track my progress, restarted tracking and relating on Spark People and quit looking backwards. Everything was going just fine until the end of April when my dad was diagnosed with Stage IV Glioblastoma. That's the worst possible brain tumor imaginable. We had a really rough summer and then on August 9, 2010, God finally took him home and released him from the misery. If I have learned anything during all of this, it is to live life, every day, to the fullest. Be the best "You" you can be, love the people God has blessed you with unconditionally, and forgive without hesitation. Now it's time to restart my healthy lifestyle. Luckily, I did not fall too far off the wagon. However, I have been very unfocused and it is time to become laser-focused on this goal. This is my year to look my best, be my best, feel my best. The only thing that can stop me, and that has stopped me in the past, is myself. And this time, I refuse to get in my way!

* Eat clean, flexitarian (I don't eat anything with more than 2 legs, and strive to limit all legs entirely!) * Weight workouts minimum 4 days per week * Cardio 6 days per week, minimum 40 minutes. * Abs 6 days per week
Personal Information:
I live in Rochester, NY. I was born in Michigan, but feel like I *grew up* in San Diego, where I spent 13 exciting years of my life. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world and am the mother the greatest 8 year old boy in the universe!

I am a writer and everything is an inspiration, every person is a potential character. Don't worry ... if it happens to you, its a compliment!!
