Christy's fresh start

My name is Christy, I'm married to a wonderful man (Dave). Between us we have 5 children. 4 girls Tannya, Tammy, Terra, and Tiffany, and one Boy David. We are the proud Grandparents of 10 grandkids, 8 girls and 2 boys.
When I met Dave I had been dieting and lost alot of weight but wasnt my ideal weight. Soon after dating he was diagnosed with Cancer. I soon sold my house and moved in to help take care of him. I also forgot about me. I have been eating my way through his treatment. ...
My name is Christy, I'm married to a wonderful man (Dave). Between us we have 5 children. 4 girls Tannya, Tammy, Terra, and Tiffany, and one Boy David. We are the proud Grandparents of 10 grandkids, 8 girls and 2 boys.
When I met Dave I had been dieting and lost alot of weight but wasnt my ideal weight. Soon after dating he was diagnosed with Cancer. I soon sold my house and moved in to help take care of him. I also forgot about me. I have been eating my way through his treatment.
About 1 1/2 years ago he was given 6mo. + to live. At the same time our printing company closed leaving me unemployed. I have enjoyed the time at home with him but savings and unemployment only last so long.
A month ago I decided that if I didnt take care of myself I was never going to be here to take care of him in his greatest time of need. So I changed the way we are eating. Fresh fruit and veggies every day, weighing portions, and tracking. I also started walking outside. Feeling better I got a job and joined a gym.
Im so excited, I have so much to look forward to. I cant wait to see what God has in store for me and my family!!!

My Goals:
1. To eat better.
2. To go to the gym at least 3 times a week.
3. Drink lots of water, and stop drinking soda.


My Program:
1. Strength training
2. Walking 40 min a day
3. bicycle for 15 min a day
4. Nothing on Sunday, except church.
5. 1,200 Cal. a day, low fat, No salt.
