Hey everyone, I'm Christina, or some call me Chris, Chrissy or just Christina. I'm a software developer in the DFW area. I sit on my butt a lot since I am at a computer all day. I've been on spark a long time, but only recently have I become serious about getting healthy again. I keep doing well, then falling off the healthy track, then back on again. It's making progress take way too long.
I wear pink often, in honor of my mum who passed away on October 26, 2015, after battling inflammatory breast cancer for 18 months. She was the strongest woman I've ever known, and she stayed strong until her last breath. I will do anything I can to honor my role model and woman of whom I owe everything to. This year I will get my first mammogram, making sure to get tested, do weekly self exams, and get as healthy as I can. I'm now at risk, and my risk jumps up because I'm over the age of 30 and never been able to have a child. Apparently you get a 50% more likely chance to get breast cancer if you don't/can't have babies...yay me. I'm an advocate for helping others any way I can. So if you have questions about breast cancer, don't be afraid to hit me up.
1. Drink minimal 8 glasses of water a day.
2. Try to get 10,000 steps in per day.
3. Drop 28 pounds by 8/27/16
4. Learn to love myself
5. Spread awareness to others about breast cancer
Logging my calories and food intake.
Drinking water more often.
Beach body workouts

I love to read and love movies. I read a lot of different authors, some of my favorites are Janet Evanovich and Anne Rice. Movies, I love all the old cheesy 80s movies, I love action, drama, romance, horror, you name it! I wear pink in honor of my mom at least 3 days a week. I'm spreading awareness of this terrible disease.

With regard to not having children ... I'm glad to hear that it doesn't seem to get you down much anymore. I spent a long time trying to accept it and now, quite frankly, I'm good with the way things have worked out. Life is good.
