Great things come to those who take them!

I'm not normally the kind of person that gets involved with this kind of thing. I prefer to sit in the background and watch other people. However my theory is by actually getting involved I have to stay committed.

I have always been an emotional eater and I consider it my biggest vice. I don't smoke, drink, and have never touched drugs, but I love food, cooking, eating, sharing. It's such a pleasure for me.

The turning point in my life came when I tried to skydive and was told I was to fat, I was devastated, told in front of a room full of my peers aged 20. I decided only I could make the change. I was healthy, and beautiful, and now I needed to get my eating under control. From that day I slowly lost 45lbs over 2 years. I have maintained this loss for over 10 years. I learned that if you work off more than you put in, you loose weight.

Recently I have put a bit of weight back on, when I moved in with my boy-friend, so its time to reverse that. Maybe some day soon I'll be proposed to, and I will not be a wide-bride!

Healthy eating is the way forward - if there is an ingredient in a shop bought product that I wouldn't cook with at home, I don't buy it!

I do a modified cross-fit training program 3-4 days a week. I also do a boxing class at the weekend, and I am trying to get back into running...
