Looking back on 2011, I've had my ups and downs. I am still stuck at 150 lbs. I didn't make it to my goal weight. But I am more encouraged by my own progress. I've become the person I have set out to be in 2011 - the Runner girl! Now that my life consists of runs and preparing healthy meals. I make conscious choices daily on my eating. Really, I could not have made through the year without my Spark friends. For you all have been there and being an inspiration for me to keep going. If you are reading this, thank you and thank you for being my Christmas miracles. I hope we are going for a spectacular 2012 together. We ARE In this TOGETHER!

Since joining Sparkpeople on March 31, 2010, I was able to lose 15 lbs by June 15, 2010. Since then, my weight has been fluctuating between 158 to 155 lbs. Run my first 5k on Thanksgiving Day 2010.

My Goals:
In 2012

1. Aim for 330 days of over 10,000 steps a day
2. Train and run my first marathon
3. No more excuses for WHY I can't.
4. A year of no snapping. Control my anger and emotion.


My Program:
1. Run at least 3 miles 3 times a week
2. At least 10000 steps each day
3. Make to the gym at least 3 times a week
4. Pray for God's guidance when I don't know what to do



Personal Information:
I am from Taiwan and I've lived in the US for 12 years now. I am 42 years old. Mom to a 4 yr old boy. I live in New Market, Maryland.

I weighted around 170 lbs since I was in junior high. I am 5'3" since 6th grade, then I didn't grow taller anymore. My sister is size 2 and I was a size 10 forever. Growing up in Taiwan - people made fun of me on my weight and my big feet. They nickname me - Elephant.

My goal is to reach 130 lbs and maintain it for the rest of my life.
