On 20 November 2012 I started my change in healthy life style. This is the best thing I did. I am taking care of myself for a change. I was so use to takintg care of my kids and my husband and parents that I was never in first place. I am very proud of myself. I have lost 102.5 pounds so far. I still have a way to go but I know I am on the right road. I see sunshine everyday I wake up and hear the birds sing. I enjoy so may things that I never bothered to before. I thank God so much ...

I was so use to takintg care of my kids and my husband and parents that I was never in first place. I am very proud of myself. I have lost 102.5 pounds so far. I still have a way to go but I know I am on the right road. I see sunshine everyday I wake up and hear the birds sing. I enjoy so may things that I never bothered to before. I thank God so much for giving me the strength to continue this journey. I use to be a size 24 and even then some close did not fit me. Now I am a size 16W /18. For me this is like WOW. I never wanted to go out befor, I was to embarassed of the way I looked. Now I go walking my dog, I walk everywhere. Last year before my diet I went on a flight and I had to ask the flight atendant for a extension for the seat belt. That was VERY IMBARASSING for me. This year I went on a flight and I had the time of my life. I did not need to ask the flight attendant for a extension for my seat. This was a super accomplishment for me. it was one of my dream come trues. It is soooo good to know I can find close that fit me. I could not find a jacket that fit me before. In the winter time I use to use a sweater and go through alot of cold. Now I have a fancy jacket. Wow there are no words to say how happy I am. I still have a way to go,, but I am walking forward.

***Unfortunately I have fallen and did not take care of myself. I was too busy taking care of my parents and family and just ate foods that I should not have eate, I also stoped exercising and planning my goals and days for activities. I have restarted on 8/26/2014. Here I go. I need all the help I can get.

10/15/2014. I was 115 kilos on 9/2/2014 and now I am 110. I lost 12.5 pounds in 1 month in a half. I am on the right road and I see sunshine at the end of my road to happiness. I have been going to the gym 3x a week and 3x a week doing exercise at home. I feel so good and proud of myself. Finally back on the right track again. Never give up on ourselves is number one.

My Goals:
I want to be able to look in the mirror and love what I see. I want to be able to go to a clothing store and be able to find lots of close that fit me. I want to be able to wear a short sleeve shirt. Due to having big arms I am uncomfortable using short sleeve shirts. I want to take care of my health.

My Program:
On Monday through Wednesday I go to the gym for 1 hour work out. Thurs through Saturday do Aerobics walking exercise (Lesley Samson) incorporate jumping rope also to my home exercise.

Other Information:
My hole life I was a over weight person and always on yo yo diets. This is my first change in health lifestlye living that I have hanged in there for. I am taking on lots of projects, I do gardening. I started a quilting project. It is so helpful to have projects to keep myself occupied.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I know what you mean about wanting to have a pool at home, wouldn't it be nice!
The leisure club I belong to has adult only swimming times which I attend. I am very conscious of my size & the way I look but having arthritis in both knees, swimming is my only exercise so I've had to 'get over myself'. Oh occasionally ( I think) people may give me an odd glance, but there aren't many people who look perfect in a swimming costume & most people are just pleased to see you doing your best & keeping going.
You are an inspiration & have done so well in your weight loss, don't let this hold you back from enjoying an exercise that you love.
