My Goals:
Goal 1: Stop drinking soda and eating fried foods.

Goal 2: Eat healthier/change lifestyle

Goal 3: to lose first 20 lbs in 3 months.

Goal 4: lose total of 30 lbs by August 30, 2014

Goal 5: Reduce the stress on my knees/ankles. Less pain!

Goal 6: Lose another 20 lbs by Nov 2014


My Program:
*Stopped drinking soda and eating fried foods since March 12, 2013 :-)

Drink 80 oz.water a day

Tracking what I consume.

Walking 2-3 times a week to start. Increase as I am able.

Work w/Fitness instructor weekly.

Personal Information:
I'm Shirl. Live in WI, work too many hours, need to spend more time on me!
Like to travel, go out to dinner with friends, enjoy movies, just taking a long relaxing ride in the country and volunteer with the Big Brother Big Sister program.

Other Information:
Love my daughter and little grandson.

9/3/2013 Tues
So, tomorrow I have my Stress test scheduled for 8:00a.m. Am a little leery because it's taken me approx. 5 weeks to even get to doing 2 mi/ph and I know they're going to push me hard to get my heart pumping. Well, the surprise will be on them, cause it doesn't take much for this ticker to get pumping and me to start sweating! Between my arthritic knees and my anemia, I am a little worried. Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well.

9/1/2013 Sun. Labor Day week-end
Feeling very tired this past week and even worse this week-end. Just want to sleep. Pigged out yesterday for the few hours I was awake. I've been doing so well the past few weeks, so not sure why I'm feeling this way. Such a funk. Got to get out of it. Tomorrow is another day. emoticon

Almost 4 weeks since I've stayed on my Healthy Living plan. Had a few "hic ups" along the way, but am staying strong! I'm proud of what I've accomplished to date. My sister who is changing her lifetyle with me has dropped 32 lbs in 13 weeks. Am very proud of her too!
