Jan's Flickering Spark
Hi my name is Jan. I am 54 yrs old and have recently made some changes for the good in my life. I have not had a cigarette since 22 Nov 2009 and am feeling great!! Now I am also on the road to losing weight and getting into better shape. Retired in 2007 from the Canadian Armed Forces after 22+ years, and thankfully I am not in too bad shape to start.

My Goals:
My goals are to lose weight and great shape health wise.
1. Lose another 8 pounds by 20 Feb 10. Done
2. Be 90 kg by 10 March. Done
3. Be 79 kg (or less) by end May 2012...we can do this!!!
My Program:
I currently use my elliptical machine every morning for at least 10-12 minutes before getting ready for work. I started with WII Fit PLUS, now do Tae Bo or what ever catches my eye to change it up, and I do approx 40-50 minutes a night. I also belly dance at least 2 nights per week and perform in a dance troupe. Last but not least, watch what I eat and no snacking at night............

My name is Jan and I live in Trenton, Ontario.
I have been married to a wonderful and loving man, Tony for 19 years. I have a son, Denis, 35 and a daughter, Joanne, just turned 30 who incidently just had her first baby. So now I have 4 grand daughters, Madison 11 yrs, Daphne 4 yrs, Hannah 3 yrs, and new baby, Arielle, who is 13 mths.
Other Information:
Still working for the military but as a civilian employee now and loving it. I love working with computer programs. I am a qualified web designer and have my own site, Hunybees Designs. Also love to curl up on the couch with Roxanne and puppy Bobby Jo, our Chocolate Labs and watch movies. I like mystery movies, but also enjoy a good comedy.
