Tracking food and exercise truly helps; I always see the weight drop with consistent tracking. BTW I've tried almost every diet out there, including low carb high fat, low carb low fat, the zone, the age-free zone, body for life, body for life for women, Beverly hills diet, alkaline diet, master cleanse, south beach diet, volumetrics, seventeen ...

My husband (who has never been overweight) and I both are currently on a vegan diet for environmental, ethical, and health reasons, and are feeling great.

Hi Cherrie! Welcome to SP! Good luck! Try to think of this as a lifestyle change and you'll do find. It's amazing when you realize how many calories you have been eating, huh? I've lost about 50 pounds already and I still use the food tracker everyday. Keeps me honest and makes me realize when I'm heading off track.

Jennie
