Joy Should Be Sung Louder Than Anger

I'm Chelles- 25 and from the loveliest city in the world, Chicago. I'm currently planning my wedding to my fiance and partner of 3 years. We're saying "I Do" on September 28th, 2013 before we head to Europe for our honeymoon (and most likely to live!).

I enjoy dancing, yoga, and strength training. My biggest goals are to run a marathon, climb a mountain, and travel as much as possible.

My Goals:
Basically, my goals is to run a marathon, learn how to cycle in traffic, meet new people, dance as often as possible, and potentially reach a healthy and manageable weight.

Ultimate Goal for lbs= 159 by my wedding on 9/28/13
Reward: Expensive day of pampering before the wedding.

Mini-Goal: 185 by Thanksgiving
Reward: Early Xmas gift to myself

My Program:
Current plan:
Monday: Kickboxing and Core
Tuesday: Kettlebell and short run or fast walk on treadmill.
Wednesday: Free weight sculpting
Thursday: Yoga and short run on treadmill.
Friday: Recovery day
Saturday: Boot camp and short run
Sunday: Off or dance class

All of my classes are done at my training gym. I am trying to focus on more strength training than pure cardio.

welcome back....I wish I could say something inspiring, but I am in the same boat. I guess the good news....I am back to sparking as well!

I went back to school in January taking classes for my Master's in Special Education....the stress of school, work and family have inspired me to gain 15-20 lbs since one year ago. YIKES!

I am also injured from running, so I am on the mend....slow walking is the most I can handle.

I guess the moral of my sob story is....you are not alone and we are all in this together! sorry, very cliche, but true.

I am tracking my food most days, doing my physical therapy exercises for my hip, and focusing mostly on reducing stress. Hang in there and keep blogging to maintain your sanity!

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it! I just think I need to change things up, because obviously knowing what I am doing (spark) and doing it, are totally different! Time for a new approach. Good luck to you lady!

I hear ya! I fell off the wagon in to a boatload of never ending cookies and cakes. Well, there was an ending because I stopped eating them. But it was touch and go there for a while.

Christmas/NYE was nice - we spent it with my aunt. Beautiful weather.

Things on this end are OK. Getting back into the swing of things here on SP.

When is the wedding?
