I have another 16.5 pounds to get to my initial goal...can not believe that I am so close! Once I get to that goal I will do an assessment with my physician to determine if more weight loss is appropriate/needed.
I have been losing much more slowly lately. BUT I have been doing weight workouts with a 10 pound kettleball weight and doing 20 minute video workouts three times a week along with walking about 10 - 12 miles a week. Last week my body decided to be a cranky and I was experiencing muscle spasms in my hip and one shoulder. I slept on a mattress that is MUCH different than the one I have at home so I think that may have contributed to the problem. So I gave myself a week off, had a nice full body massage (I usually go every six weeks, but had not been there since November.) and it seems to have done the trick! (Though I wish I could find someone who does averedic (spelling?) massages as well.)
Today I started with walking (4.78 miles) and feel GREAT! I will add weight work next week. I hope to make my goal by the end of April...though earlier would be nice!
