Welcome to me

Hello- I am a very busy mother of 4. I want to lose weight and learn to keep it off to set a good example for my children. Maybe they won't have to deal with these issues later in life!

An update on me... I have been busy training for my triathlon.
I am getting very nervous about that!! My kids are keeping me busy, Soccer, swimming, violin, school, hockey ect.
My weight loss is continuing, and I feel great!! I can't thank ...

So it's been almost a year and a half since I started SP. I have lost more then 80 pounds and completed 4 triathlons. I have struggled with moody eating and days where the gym is not my friend. i am now to a point where I need to maintain and that has been more challenging then I thought. But with the support of SP and the friends I have made with my new lifestyle (ie the gym) I know that I will continue to succeed.

Hi Charlie... WOW... A ten miler! Good for you!!!! You go girl! I have increased my running to 5 3/4 of a mile, but am hoping to do a full 10K this fall. Then begin to increase from even that. My goal is to do a 10 miler from Soldier Field next spring and a half marathon summer or fall 2010. So...assuming I'm not suffering from injury or other mishap, I hope to be in good running shape as well.

The Tri is this Sunday and of course the usual jitters are there (wondering as I always do week before a big race, "Why did I sign up for this!" LOL). The water temp is only in the mid 60s with this cold spring we've had. I don't own a wet suit, so not sure if I'll rent one...doubt it.

Hope your training is going well and you are gearing up for your big even as well. Coming up quick! :) Hope your water is warmer than mine! Yikes!

Hi Charlie... Just checkin' up on you! Hope your training is in full gear! Tri Season #2 for us!!! Best wishes on all your races! My first race will be a 5K at Wrigley Field for the Chicago Cubs charities. My sons live nearby there and it's on my oldest's birthday. So...figured it'd fun to meet them down there and go out of lunch to celebrate!

What races will you be doing this year?

Hi! Wow you are such an inspiration to me. I cannot believe your total weight loss and how you look. You look amazing. Your belly also looks good for having 4 kids. I have had just 1 and wish mine looked alittle better. I just want to say that you inspire me a great deal.
