And so it begins anew...!

I have been "husky" pretty much all of my life. It truly has never really bothered me that much though as I have always been pretty active and able to do everything that I have wanted from playing basketball to tennis.

But this past year, things have gotten "slower" on the activity scale with just playing tennis once or twice every couple of weeks. It is much harder making it to the gym now with our 2 beautiful girls growing up so quickly and all of the other activities that ...

It is much harder making it to the gym now with our 2 beautiful girls growing up so quickly and all of the other activities that start coming along with that. Life just seems to get in the way sometimes.

So this year I am trying to get my self going again and want to try to lose 57 pounds by the end of the year. I think that around 5 lbs. a month should definitely be doable... I am definitely enjoying all of the resources available on this site, and plan to use all of them as much as possible.

We also have bought Tony Horton's 10 minute trainer series and I am liking that as well.

So we shall see how it goes!!

I am tracking my daily food intake with myNutrition and trying to stay within the suggested levels.

I am trying to work out at least 30 minutes 3 times a week with extra thrown in when I can!
