Thank you for your encouragement on my NSV's blog. I hope you are safe and well this morning as I've heard about the storm problems in Scotland and the North of England. The wind has recently arrived here and whipped the windows I opened to air my home fully wide so I've had to shut them. I think we will see the last of the leaves on the tree being stripped off today.
Hi Carol, I should have looked at your page better to see you're not an American. Duh me LOL. I finished the 2 mile walk in 45 minutes. I was amazed at the number of people participating. It was at least 2500 people if not more. It was a lot of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. My oldest son was going to pick me up and give me a ride home after but the weather was mild, my muscles warmed and so I phoned him and told him to stay in bed and I walked home adding another mile + to my walking for the day. Hopefully all that exercise will make up for the eating I'll do tonight at my youngest son and daughter-in_laws. It's sheer craziness shopping here from now till after Christmas. I started doing all of my shopping online a few yrs. back and it is so easy and I save money by not getting lured into buying extra things. I think it's wonderful that you've helped someone get off the street and have their own home again. Life can be a struggle and I think most of us are just a hair's breadth away should something happen. Bless your heart for helping others. I hope you have a lovely weekend!
Thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog. Yes, fibro is the pits. This colder, windier weather is hurting me and it's to be in the teens and light snow Thanksgiving morning. I will dress warmly and I am determined to do this for myself and also for charity. I may be down for a couple days after but it's so worth it. I hope you're able to feel well enough to enjoy Thanksgiving with your family.
