My Program:
Bike to work: 1-2 times per wk

Run 3-8 miles: 2-3 times per week

Strength train: 2 times per week

Circuit training / Core Exercises: 5 times per week

Personal Information:
I've never struggled with my weight, but because of that I've also never been that careful with what I ate. When my dr told me my cholesterol was a bit high, it was a wake up call to eat intentionally. I was so surprised when I lost weight, gained strength and endurance, started loving fruits and veggies, and feel so amazing with the endorphins of working out that I barely drink coffee anymore. :o) I know, you hate me by now, but I'm just happy to enjoy being and playing outside and finding new ways to eat more healthily. I love all the inspiration and tips on SparkPeople!!

Also I'm an INTJ on the Meyers-Briggs personality types that I'm addicted to. :o)

Other Information:
When I was growing up as a nerd I thought that physical fitness was a waste of time when I had so much for my brain to learn. Now as a physicist, I realize that my brain and body work well together! My brain gives me something to do while training, and my body helps my brain work better after working out. :)

Hey MadDancer, thanks!! :) I know I wish people realized this more! I've read good stuff about the subject in Michael Pollan's books...also the movie King Corn is an interesting commentary on our government's corn subsidy! :p

hi there yea i did sum research on the actual website www.themastercleanse.irg n my long time friend n old babysitter from when i was a child has been doing this for years. she is very healthy n skinny n has gone to competitions n stuff. so shes my reliable source. lol. but it seems to be working n i dont feel hungry!
