I've only heard wonderful things about the Mud Run. I may try it next year. Marquette Marathon was awesome - you can read my "story" on my latest blog. They are also getting major rave reviews on their FB page. Many seasoned marathoners from thousands of miles away saying it is by far the best race they've ever run. I think it will grow tremendously next year...hopefully they will be prepared. Let's try to get together for coffee or something in the next couple weeks. I'm pretty busy this week, but mostly back to running next. Since you are on mids, what is the best time of day for you? 2001 days ago
Hey - welcome back. You are right, being here helps with so much, including the accountability. But it sounds like you've already started 'correcting.' I think you are more than "on the road to recovery." :) How are you feeling? Hope we can meet up in person soon. Did you do the Mud Run?
I'm good; currently in the flurry of my half marathon extravaganza. Ran the Marquette Marathon Half Saturday. Scheduled for the Sault Chamber Chase 9/24, and then the Savannah RocknRoll 11/5. If I make it through all of them, I'll be an official Half Fanatic. Wish me luck. 2001 days ago
it doesnt matter if you fall or not, it matters if you get back up. getting up makes you stronger. dont focus on the negative, focus on what you have done right, take the ball and run with it.
the only way to NOT make a mistake on this journey is to NOT do anything. 2001 days ago
