I've always been pretty active and enjoy exercise, but I also love to eat. I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted and it would not matter if I kept up a little exercise on and off. However, when I turned 30, my metabolism slowed and now I can't eat the way I used to. I still have not learned to eat better. I like healthy foods and my diet consists of a lot of whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, but I also love junk food--everything from chips to cookies and candies. Now, despite exercising more diligently than I ever have in the past, I have gained 10 pounds in the last 6.5 years. This needs to turn around. That's why I'm here.

My Goals:
1. Be concious of what and why I am eating
2. Make food choices that are healthy for my body and will help me to achieve my weight loss goal
3. Attain a slimmer body that is 17 pounds lighter, and confidence in my body image
4. Learn to continuously improve my diet
5. Learn to conquer challenges and overcome mistakes

My Program:
I run 5-6 days a week, about an hour a day. I will also track my food to help me figure out how to eat within a healthy calorie range and grow a better awareness of why I eat.
