My beginning weight here at Spark was 266. My first goal is to shoot for 218 by Dec. 24th. 2.5 lbs a week. I'm new at this healthy lifestyle, so there is bound to be a learning curve. If I can learn to exercise and eat right consistantly, I can do it.
1)recording everything on the nutrition counter. Very useful learning tool for a beginner like me. I eat between 1200-1500 calories daily and try to get in lots of fruit and veggies. 2)I've given myself the goal to choose one cleaning project per day 3)I dragged my stationary bike into my air conditioned bedroom and have been faithfully saddling up for a target of 20-40 mins a day.
More to come later
I am 31, 5'2" and have over 100 lbs to lose (I can do it!). Any other short girls out there? My motto is: Stay the course!
Simply becoming involved in this community,my mindset has gained positive momentum. Hope perches in the soul :)
The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers. - M. Scott Peck
