Living My Healthiest Life

I'm getting into exercise and healthy eating again by training for 5K walks. I do well for awhile and then get distracted, so this time I'm motivated to keep going once I gain some momentum (versus weight!). I know what to do and why to do it, so now's my time to just do it.

My Goals:

I'm eating healthy using a food plan I like, walking and juggling for exercise, training and doing 5Ks to keep me walking 3 miles regularly.

I'm a certified hypnotherapist & life balance coach. I write articles for for Vision Magazine and host an internet radio show called Living in Balance (listen at www.BigMediaUSA.com). I live with 2 cats, a terrific daughter who's a nurse and the healthiest person I know, and a fabulous husband (together 32 years). Life is good!

I once extended my emoticon to the SoulCollage SparkPeople team, then kinda went offline! Ooooh, I regret that it's taken awhile to get back to you emoticon , but I promise I had good reasons (explained below)! We're already SparkFriends, so I look forward to sharing your SoulCollage journey, in its own time.

By the frequency of your page comments, you sound as busy as me! In case you are onine, though, I wanted to include you in my update.

I'm in the process of planning ongoing, online (probably monthly) workshops for SoulCollage card-making and card-reading in community emoticon , ideally with an online classroom so we have live access to one another for that block of a few hours. My goal is to mirror the actual workshops I have facilitated in person. The difference is, in the Spirit of SparkPeople, these workshops are free! emoticon Monthly groups are by sign-up, so there is no obligation.

SoulCollage through the venue of SparkPeople is so exciting to the SoulCollage.com community that we have the enthusiastic support of author Seena Frost and her staff. emoticon On top of THAT, KaleidoSoul creator (and Sparker) Anne Marie Bennett asked to co-lead emoticon our SparkSoulCollage this time around. emoticon

Okay, okay, I've been MIA emoticon after jumping into the Spark pool last year in spring emoticon . But, hey, a baby arrived emoticon (grandson) who needed "daycare," so my absence has been honorable (and fun!). On top of that, I've recently rescued a Golden Retriever emoticon . I call them my two golden B-Boys (Brock and Bradyn).

Please, please say I can count you in! emoticon (I equally welcome hearing if it is not a fit right now. I promise: No judgment or tears emoticon .)

Hi Barbara,

emoticon emoticon to the Introduction to SoulCollage® team! The way you've woven your healing interests and background as a resource for the world is awesome! That's not an easy thing to do, which tells me your energy and intent are clear. Blending your modalities is attractive, and I imagine many people benefit from not only your time together, but you as healing catalyst.

Congratulations on renewing your 5K walk training. You might be interested in another team (which I happen to co-lead). It's a super group of women and men, and it features a run-walk-run method that is accessible to most, without injury. (You can also just walk.) Anyway, it's been effective for me. I lost the bulk of my weight through Weight Watchers 10 years ago. SparkPeople has provided the tools and support to lose the "last" 10 lbs.
