I let my weight get out of control over the years cause i was busy with other stuff you know school, work, and life. Overweight living in a new town and knowing only a handful of people and it dawned on me that going to the gym I could socialize. Which worked out cause I found a great friend who inspired me to run...5k done...10k done....12k..thinking about it. It's been a year (Feb 2009), and 25 pounds since I started this journey and as I look back at where I was and when I started out...I am reminded that I didn't gain all this weight in a month or even six months...it's unrealistic to think that I'll lose it all in that time!
