Okay so by changing my diet and adding exercise I lost from September 2006 to October 2007 about 90 pounds. I have never missed a workout. I try to get the right amount of fruits, veges, calcium, fiber, protein etc... And keeping my sanity through it all and remember to enjoy every moment in like even the small ones.
So now its time for a little more updating. Beginning of 2011 I started the whole dating thing & met the most amazing, perfect, truely out of this world guy. He taught me so much, about love, life and more. He is still teaching me, things I never even realized I needed to learn :p We got engaged in May 2012,
Which leads me to this next chapter or I like to call bigger, Part, of my life. He passed away in June and I have been working hard on rebuilding my life. I feel like a widow. From cleaning/taking back my bedroom and making it a non-storage like space, to working on losing the "dating 20" pounds I gained in the last year and a half with a new workout routine, to finding a new job that I think I will actually like! (which is another history/story in itself), to continue to get to know his friends/family (they have helped so much in this time) and continuing to grow & be strong, but still love him. By taking it, not a day, but a single moment at a time.
Well I think most of my goals are in my Intro. Starting these new beginnings in my life- new job, new workout routine, taking back my space, loving myself, being a little more spiritual and surrounding myself with new friends& family.
Everyone says its going to be hard and will take a long time. But I have to be strong, I want to make him proud of me and continue to grow and learn and flourish.
If there is one thing I have learned in the last few months is you HAVE to change up your workout routine. You are not getting any stronger if you don't. So my program is now 5 days cardio and 3 days add the new squats and lunges w/weights.
My goal for my eating habits is to continue eating fruits/vegies and enough protein. But to work on ALL the aspects of emotional eating I have expecailly at night.
If you read the last three things I typed in -I don't know how much more personal I can get :p
P.S. If these things I put on my profile seem like I am "memorializing" my fiancee a little to much. Please give me a break, its only been 7 weeks.
And he truely was an amazing. gentle soul he touched soooo many people in his short life. People he only met once came to his services. There were so many people there I don't know how I got through it (well I KNOW he helped), he always called me his "sweet lil angel" and now he is mine.
