My name is Bonnie. I live in central California and would like to eventually move to the beach, hopefully in the next 5 years if I can.

In October I had gallbladder surgery and lost quite a bit of weight due to not eating for a week in the hospital and barely eating for a week after I got home... As soon as I started eating normal again, of course I started gaining weight... And after a while I started overeating again. I was staying with my aunt and uncle and it was harder than being on my own... I gained 16 pounds over my pre-surgery weight since then. I need to get back on track and lose that and more.

I adore my 3 nephews and 2 nieces. The girls are twins and are almost 5. The boys are 7, 8, and 10.

I also have three cats that are my babies. The first one I had, Katie, is still in Indiana with my parents till I get a place of my own. The second one is Mama, but I'm going to rename her Angel. She is a wild cat and will stay an outside cat when I get an apartment. And the third is a four week old kitten named Halo. Right now I have her in my room even though my aunt, whom I'm living with is allergic, and I'm so thankful to have her.

My ending goal is to get to between 132 and 153 by summer 2011.

My Goals:
-To not focus too much on what I'm doing, just try and do my best.



-To exercise at least 5 days a week, but aim for at least 6.



-To focus on my mini goals and not too much on the ultimate goal.



-To not go crazy when things don't work out like they're supposed to on this journey.


My Program:
EXERCISE:



-Biggest Loser Cardio Max



-Walk Away the Pounds



-30 Day Shred (soon)



-maybe some Tae Bo later on, that or Turbo Jam







FOOD:

-getting at least 3-4 fruits & veggies a day

-getting as much water as I can possibly make myself drink

-aiming for at least 60 grams of protein a day (sometimes I only get 50-so trying to work on that)

-eating between 1750 and 1850 calories each day for now



Personal Information:
I'm from central CA, been living here half of my life! Before that, my family moved all over the place, so it's nice to just be here.



But at the same time as that, and the fact that 90% of my family lives here, I'd rather live by the beach- San Diego, Seal Beach, etc. Right now that is pretty unrealistic but hopefully eventually.

    Wondering how you've been. I've discovered a diet called Eat to Live that's working for me whereas other diets haven't. Don't know if it will work for you or not. Enjoy that California weather. Happy Weekend.

    Bonnie-I know this surgery and temporary wt gain feels like a set back, but it is temporary. As you recover you will get back into your patterns you know so well and served you well in the past. I am so glad you have family to care for you right now. You might want to start a new streak and start logging in again on a daily basis if you are feeling up to it. I know you can do this-you did it before. Keep on keeping on. YOU CAN DO THIS! emoticon emoticon Make this day one of starting again.
