Hi my name is Jeanne. I am 45 years old 5'5" and weigh 339 lbs. I have a back disability and have bipolar disorder. I am on a new life journey supported by God, Husband, Daughter and SparkFriends! I am Determined to actually make it this time. I have been on what seems like every home diet plan and yo-yo there is and always the weight has come back plus lbs. I quit smoking 4 yrs ago and have reached that all time high and my rock bottom. I know I can do this this time!

Update 8/30/2014

After being on SP a couple of months I wanted to update what I'm doing here. I am getting fit and healthy! I am learning how and why to eat! I am learning to have an exercise plan and stick to it and for what reasons! I am learning to love my body as is! I am doing things I could not do even 2 months ago! I am doing this for me and for my family!

My Goals:
1. Love myself
2. Get fit and healthy
3. Lose 189 lbs

Trying to lose it all is too big a bite so I'm doing it 5% at a time as advised in an SP article. First goal is:
1. Lose 18 lbs by Oct 15th. - Goal met by Sept 15th!
2. Lose 16 lbs by Nov 15th for the Fall 5% Challenge!

Exercise Goal is 45 minutes at a time at least 3 times a week.

My Program:
Tracking food, Exercising at least 3 times a week for a minimum of 45 minutes. Joined Fall 5% Challenge. Joined Lose it to Win it Challenge. Joined Lose 50-100 lbs in a year challenge!

Personal Information:
My name is Jeanne. I'm from Colorado. I'm 45 and married for 28 years to the love of my life.

Other Information:
I love reading and dogs and recently American Ninja Warrior and Exercising! I also find that I like cooking and eating healthy foods!

We're on different teams for the challenge, but all SP'ers are on the same team.
I like that you've got your loss goals mapped out. Can't get to a destination if you don't have a map.
Keep on working. Remember, even 1/2 # a week adds up to 26# a year. It all helps you reach that goal.

Hey Jeanne,
I was on three inhalers and now i am down to two, well as soon as i am done with what i have for now...Spriva in the morning and then one in the evening right before bedtime..and then there is the nebulizer 4 times a day.. so i have to plan my day around that monster.. believe me Jeanne you dont want to start that if you can help it..oh and don't forget my tail...that damn oxygen hose.. i am working to wean myself of that thing but i do think its part of my life now...i brought it on my self so i live with it...have a great day and thanks for stopping by my blog.... emoticon
