Time to update my page. I joined SparkPeople in Jan 2009 after being diagnosed with diabetes and hypothyroid and high cholestrol and all the other stuff that goes with it. I was at my all time high weightwise and my all time low for everything else. My Dr told me to walk...and I could not make it to the mailbox without resting. But I started out slowly...and lost 90 pounds and walk 2+ miles. My bloodwork is all normal and I feel better than I have in a long long time. We like to ...

I was at my all time high weightwise and my all time low for everything else. My Dr told me to walk...and I could not make it to the mailbox without resting. But I started out slowly...and lost 90 pounds and walk 2+ miles. My bloodwork is all normal and I feel better than I have in a long long time. We like to cruise, but this year I ate too much and exercied too little, and came home 15 pounds heavier. Plus had gained 5 in Dec. So it is time to get going again. I have a friend who weighs 123 pounds...that is my goal, to lose Dorothy.

Lose 25 pounds by my birthday in March..met 3/10/ 09 Lose 50 pounds by July 4...met June 5 Lose 75 pounds by my anniversary in Oct...met Sept 24 Lose 100 by Jan 24, 2010(one yearfrom when i started) didn't meet Walk in the CROP walk in fall of 2010. ...did in Oct 2009 Not gain more than 5 pounds while on 3 1/2 week vacation, including 2 cruises ...lost 6 pounds! Jan 24-1 year anniversary-lose 90 pounds (didn't make it) April 1-return from cruising, have a loss. Did Aug 1-lose 90 pounds Did mid August Oct 1 -lose 100 pounds
My Program:
Give an overview of what you are doing to meet your goals. I eat a modified Sugar Busters diet. Go to Curves 6 days a week, and walk with my son 6-7 days a week.
