Trying to be the healthiest I can be

I'm Beth, I'm 51 and want to stay healthy by losing the extra weight I've gained. I'm retired now and get lazy. I'd sooner sit and listen to the rain than do my exercises. But once I get going I feel much better and happy I did it. I just need some pushing once in awhile. I was also recently diagnosed with osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, a torn meniscus and pre-diabetes. UGH! So now I really have to pay attention to what I eat and make sure I exercise.

My Goals:
I want to be able to exercise without my knee bothering me so I guess that means making the muscles around my knee stronger. I want to be able to keep my osteoporosis in check without it getting worse. And I want to be toned and healthy and lose 20 lbs.

My Program:
I don't really have a program. Still trying to find what works for me and my knee.

I love to bake and cook. I enjoy all kinds of weather, especially rain,snow and wind. I love to travel and learn new things. I also love to crochet on my porch and want to learn knitting.
