For most of 2013 I was At Goal - a marvelous feeling - and though the last few weeks of December knocked me off track - and the first few days of January 2014 seemed to move very slowly - at last I'm ready to hop back on my Maintenance Pony and continue living a healthy life.

I'm still a Maintenance Newbie and it takes as much effort as weight loss took - but it's a whole lot more fun to dress a body in maintenance! Woo Woo.

That's incredible that your 82 yo friend did a zip-line trip! Very impressive!

I made it outside for a bike ride yesterday! A quick 8 miles, but it was great! There is a rails-to-trails path near me - thinking of heading out there real soon :)

That's good to know. I'm glad you felt safe on the bridge because it looked like a very enjoyable bike ride.

Thanks for reading my blog. Others agree with the swimming goal but it REALLY scares me--where would I go (don't belong to the Y, how would I manage cause I wear glasses to see my hand in front of my face, etc, etc--so yeah, you can see this is a big deal. We'll see what I end up doing--I will try to blog about my decision.
