I'm 66 years old, retired, and getting healthy. I reached my goal weight, and am now working on maintaining that weight. I go to the gym 3 days a week, with my husband, and I really enjoy it.

I've enjoyed cleaning out my closets, and donating my size 14 clothes. I can now wear my 10's, and some 8's. WooHoo !
I find it very inspiring to read the stories of others - their struggles and successes. I am amazed at how many have lost much more weight than I had to. Now those ...

Happy Wednesday!
Thanks a bunch for my fan. It's about 6:30 AM here and already 75 degrees. Today is supposed to be 98 for the high so it will come in handy! Enjoy your day! emoticon Nancy

Yes, Barbara, but this time the 180 minutes (3 hours) was spent painting over at my rental. I've decided to put it up for sale, and the real estate agent said it would sell better, faster and for more money if everything were fresh and clean. I just replaced all the carpets, so it makes sense to spend a bit more money and do the painting also.

I had already repainted the room I had done in red for when I lived in it myself. It was so pretty. Red walls, white wooden blinds, TV on a black stand -- a black and white throw rug and a white sofa. Plus black and white prints on the walls. It was a darling room. But red is not a color for a home up for sale, so I re-did it in a nice neutral. A boring neutral. And now the great room will be a boring "milk toast" even the name is boring.
But when it sells it will be one less thing to worry about.

Now that the Contractor is interested in getting the final inspection; things are moving along like gang-busters! We went up today to meet with the Contractor and lo and behold the granite countertops were in and looking gorgeous. They even did the window sill in the kitchen; I was so happy about that I gave the guy a big hug!! Found out the plumbers will be there tomorrow, so that means sinks and toilets, mirror in DH's bathroom (I got a different one for mine -- which you'll see in photo's later on). I suppose they are putting the shower door on also. Then the following day it would not surprise me to see the carpet go in. Nothing could please me more, as then I could have my furniture delivered on Sunday. It was the store that mentioned Sunday, not me -- but I did point out to them that on a Sat or Sunday they wouldn't be bothered by workers underfoot.

So..... with any luck we could be moving in the beginning of August. It could even be the week-end of Aug. 1-2, it would make me happy. My big fat foam mattress would have it's 48 to 72 hours to expand and would be all ready for us to sleep on. lol

So keep your eye out for that blog with pictures of the new place!
Hugs, Eve
