Fall 2016 5% Challenge Exercise Commitment:

As I get ready to start the 5% Fall 2016 Challenge, I have been suffering from sciatic pain and bursitis for nearly a year now which has definitely interfered with my motivation to do my regular exercise. However, I recently received two shots for the bursitis which has helped immensely so I am determined to persevere and get back into my regular fitness routine and show the scale who is boss.. My exercise plan for the Fall challenge is:
1. Walk daily at least 5 out of 7 days a minimum of 30 minutes
2. 60 minute yoga class twice weekly
3. 60 minute Enhance Fitness class three times weekly
4. Strength training 30 minutes twice weekly
Fall 2016 5% Challenge Nutrition Plan:
My pledge for the Fall 2016 %% challenge is to achieve my weight loss goals. I plan to eat clean at least 75% of the time by limiting processed foods and sugar. I will eat more vegetables and fruits and less white carbs. I am here to inspire, support and motivate others in their journey while receiving the same on my journey.

On my team page I will daily record my exercise and Living the Good Life points, and I will weigh and record my weight weekly. I will check with my team at least three times per week. I will visit team members' pages and blogs as much as I can.

I will STAY FOCUSED and NEVER GIVE UP!

Personal Information:
My name is Barbara, aka Barbie. I live in Roseburg, Oregon. I am 66, widowed on November 12, 2013. I have three children, a grown daughter who has a 23 year old daughter and a 17 year old son; a grown son who has a son who is 19 and working in the woods as a logger, and I had one son who died 23 years ago at the age of 15+ in a downhill skiing accident. I retired just a couple of months before my husband became so ill, so now that he is gone, I am still learning how to fill my days, and fix meals for one.


Other Information:
I got a dog after my husband's death, a Padderdale Terrier (looks like a miniature black lab), named Marv in memory of my husband who had a collection of Marvin the Martian things.
I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, card making, quilting, and knitting. I am learning how to take care of the lawn and garden which were Bill's pride and joy. I love the sunshine and being outdoors.
