After a lengthy history of watching the scales go up and down, I managed to lose 40 lb and am committed to never "finding" it again.

My children aren't too happy with me - they all want me to get a "smart" phone so they can text me. I don't want texts from my children! If they can't call me, then I guess they don't need to talk to me! I grew up knowing that if I was outside I probably wouldn't hear the phone - and back in the day there wasn't even voice mail! Nothing bad ever happened so why start being obsessed with it now! And I'm with you on the TV as well, it's just getting lamer and lamer while it gets more complicated and expensive! Have a wonderful day.

Thanks for the blog visit yesterday. Did you get your motorcycle yet? LOL. Still giggling over that one.

Hasn't it been awesome? I am afraid to enjoy it too much. I keep thinking we'll get snow again!

What perfect logic of the dieter! Fool the fitbit. Get a motorcycle. I love it! So did DH.

I feel better in that I am eating better, but is my choice of "raw" foods the reason? For example I use frozen plain vegetables then add my own seasonings instead of buying the pre-seasoned frozen brands. Ditto with soups.
No "starters" for chilies or pre-marinated meat.
Do I save my liver by buying organic?
