After a lengthy history of watching the scales go up and down, I managed to lose 40 lb and am committed to never "finding" it again.

emoticon Eating without distractions will be the REAL mental strength training challenge! I've been working on the "eat sitting down" guideline for a few weeks now. The result has been that I am having a hard time eating all my meals and getting enough calories and nutrients. There seems to be a huge link between overeating and lack of mindfulness for me. Like others have said, this could be THE most important skill.

Thank you so much for dropping by my blog. The first chapters of Beck are an easy read, so it's easy to catch up. Best of luck to both of us with the reboot!

Have a great day!

Thanks for the goodie! I selfishly use you guys for support.
Lest you think it's all sad, it's not. He will improve in spite of himself. I'm getting a hint of what retirement could be and am enjoying my downtime. I started back with my trainer 2 days a week and he's pushing for 3. I may take him up on it while I have the funds. Don't drink, smoke or have expensive tastes so exercise could be my vice!
