I have walked hundreds of miles a month and hundreds of lunges a day starting this past summer! now it's winter and i've lost a little motivation:( My motivation started out of the blue from a very positive, encouraging best friend. I didn't really think i was in that bad of shape....as i had been worse when my kids were babies. But she got me off my behind, and i feel so much more energy and so much more positive throughout my days! my self esteem has also lifted a lot. I was given this site by my daughter's gymnastic coach, and think i heard of it a long time ago before that on television, and tried to find it (but was disappointed that i couldn't). I just got on here out of curiousity as i'm so interested in anything to do with a healthy lifestyle! It said i need to lose lots of weight, and i agree. it has not been my main focus, but i know as i have already made a step in the right direction, that more steps toward health IS a GREAT thing! I am feeling strong from the improvements i have already made and realized that just putting my mind to this will enable me to accomplish anything that i work hard to do!! And the funny part is it is not so much "hard" as determination:) I have many many reasons to be healthy, with looking good being very important....but also at the bottom of my list. A boost in self esteem is always great...but so is the ability to go through life actually living it to the fullest!!! I also love to help others, as i do not believe in leaving others "behind". What a great looking site!!!

firm up arms

lose the roll above jeans...completely!

work on abs each day and see what happens!

feel better than last summer in summer wardrobe:)

maybe...maybe...a bikini???

Do a REAL pushup...i LOVE it when a woman can do these. Can i do this someday?

long term goals: (dreams)
coach girls on the run
run a marathon

Adding a new goal after reading into 2nd chapter of spark. This is a big one. i used to teach water aerobics, and am visualizing this again in my future!!! i would LOVE that...or to teach ANY fitness class...getting paid to work out is as good as it gets! yea!


My Program:
starting with 36 crunches on ball every day

walking at least 5 miles a week for the winter months (increase again in spring!)

do several cardio classes a week at gym, combined with walking on treadmill

do full body power work out with weights at gym

keep track of nutrition...and keep within daily goals
