Under 200 by June 2013
The title says it all. In June of next year is my birthday I will be 30 so I want to start my 30's in better then i am now. June is also when my best friend is getting married and I am the maid of honor so of course I want to look pretty in a dress and for the pictures. I have tried to loose weight so many times in the past. I have tried everything to loose weight. I am done with gimmicks, pills and fad diets and this time I am doing it the old fashion way through diet and exercise. ...
The title says it all. In June of next year is my birthday I will be 30 so I want to start my 30's in better then i am now. June is also when my best friend is getting married and I am the maid of honor so of course I want to look pretty in a dress and for the pictures. I have tried to loose weight so many times in the past. I have tried everything to loose weight. I am done with gimmicks, pills and fad diets and this time I am doing it the old fashion way through diet and exercise. I started making my lifestyle change in 2007 when i signed up for the National body challenge. Reason i decided to make this lifestyle change: 1) To live longer 2) To Avoid getting high blood pressure and Diabetes that run in my family 3) To not get winded when going up a flight of stairs 4) So I can set a better example for children in my life and the children i work with daily. 5) Sleep better at night 6) To be able to keep up with my god kids. Since starting spark people I have come along way with my lifestyle change. Here are some of the changes I made: I now eat breakfast every morning I used skip Breakfast and super or king size lunch I now drink 64+ oz of water and no soda I used to drink 64+ oz of soda I now eat 3 or more fruits and veggies.(still working on increasing this) I used to eat maybe 1 fruit or veggie on a good day I now exercise 3-4 days a week and walk 10,000+ steps most days. I used to consider getting off the couch exercise. I have stop putting myself down and learned to love myself no matter how much I weight. I used to put myself down and hated myself for been so big. I still have a long way to go but I know I will get there I am a work in progress and I will make it to my goal of 150.

My Program:
Consume between 1200 and 1550 calories per day Exercise for atleast 20 minutes a day Burn 1500 calories per week Eat 2 fruits and veggies daily
