My Goals:
Lose weight so I can keep up with my daughter.

Improve my health so I'm around a long time to see her grow up.

I could stand to lose 80 pounds, but my goal for now is just to push for 20-30 lbs.

My Program:
Walking and in general trying to increase the amount of activity I get during the day.

Drink water.


Personal Information:
A 40-something "new" mama from Western Wisconsin. My husband and I were blessed with a little girl in Dec 2010.

I was pretty skinny as a kid, but when I hit my mid-20's I developed some health problems and my weight "blossomed" - including 15 pounds in the 6 months between my engagement and wedding!!

Other Information:
I love to walk, cook / bake, crochet, knit and stamp / make cards.

Favorite movies: The Princess Bride, Sabrina (Harrison Ford version), The King's Speech.

It is never fun to have an injury. So sorry to hear about your shin splits. A few years ago I had a stress fracture and it took a long time to recover from it. I have learned the importance of stretching especially the older I get. Do you use any DVD's for working out? I have found on Sparks some great routines and some of them are only 10 min. I had a core one I really liked but I did not know how to save it. Now if I find one I like, I pin it on pinterest. emoticon
