AnneMargo gets healthy
This will be long and complicated, and I apologize in advance! I've struggled with body issues and eating since I was a teenager. I've cycled through bouts of bulimic-like behavior, anorexic behavior, and binge eating. I've been down to a little over 100 lbs (and I'm 5'10 1/2") and over 240 lbs. This will be long and complicated, and I apologize in advance! I've struggled with body issues and eating since I was a teenager. I've cycled through bouts of bulimic-like behavior, anorexic behavior, and binge eating. I've been down to a little over 100 lbs (and I'm 5'10 1/2") and over 240 lbs. In 1999, at my heaviest, I used the Healthy Exchange program to lose over 70 lbs, and kept it off until about 2007--and I'm still approximately 40 lbs under my highest weight. In July 2006, I suffered a heart block and cardiac arrest, and had a dual ICD/pacemaker implanted in my chest. I'm determined to take back control of my life and health. I'm working to be within my healthy weight range and have my active and busy life back.

HELP plan: Healthy eating using healthy exchange recipes and other healthy recipes. Exercise 5 to 6 days a week, including 2-3 days of resistance training Lifestyle changes (bring lunch to work, walk instead of drive on errands, etc) Prayer and positive thinking

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and am a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Other Information:
I collect comic books, love to read (especially fantasy and history), knit using a knitting loom, working counted cross stitch, and making cards, listening to old time radio and watching musicals.
