I'm a 24 year old SAHM and wife. We have 2 boys Gunnar is 5 and Maverick is 3. I've lost 73+lbs from when I first started dieting in October 2009 (230lbs) and now I'm focusing on staying healthy and fit.

I'm 5'10''. I started dieting on my own in October 2009 when I was at my highest weight for not being pregnant 230lbs. I got down to 218 on my own, when I decided to join SparkPeople. Since then I've been on a strict diet. I started by exercising every other day. Since Feb. I've been exercising EVERY single day. I have been doing Jillian Michael's DVDs: 30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, Banish Fat Boost Metabolism, Yoga Meltdown, Shred It with Weights, and 6 Weeks Abs. I use my treadmill for 30 mintues each time I exercise as well. I usually aim to burn 500+ calories a session and aim to do one session a day. I also try and get outside and be active with my boys.

Before my diet I was using food as my crutch, celebration, and as a friend. Now I only use food as fuel. I find other things to calm myself or to make myself feel better.

My Goals:
My goals have changed. I can now fit into all of my clothes that were in my closet, in fact most are too big.



My goals are now to be very physically fit and to take care of myself.


My Program:
Stick to 1200-1500 calories a day. Workout everyday. I aim to burn at least 500 calories in workouts a day.



I do circuit training with Jillian Michaels everyday (I have 7 of her DVDs). I also run on my treadmill.


I cut back on grains and diary. I also watch sodium levels very carefully.
