52 year old woman, rheumatoid arthritis, constant struggle to keep weight down. Mother of 3 grown children, have 2 wonderful grandchildren, and husband of 33 years. Young at heart! Body is another story.... Trying to keep healthy and young! Sometimes I feel like I am losing the battle...Need a lift!

the Prednisone is rough on our bodies, I have gained my weight back also. Had a huge flareup and ended up in the hospital at the end of Sept. ended up going to skilled nursing until Nov. 15. Home now waiting for my husband to come on Wednesday for the holidays, he is now in Tenn. I found out a couple of days that I will need to get my right hip replaced soon after new year. Rays taken 2 and a half years ago were ok, now just awful! They said prednisone will speed up the progression so be careful NAN . Take care of yourself and enjoy the holiday. God bless you. Hello friend! It's so great to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear about your surgery. I hope your rehab is going well. My RA is progressing, but I think after all these years, I finally found the right meds and dosages that work for me. I'm currently on a prednisone burst. How was your Thanksgiving? I had a great holiday with my family and friends. However, my journey isn't going so well. I've gained back all the weight I lost since 2010. It's time for me to get in gear and start sparking! Best wishes on your journey. Take care and keep on touch.
