I took my background pic while visiting my daughter in the cloud forest at Monteverde, Costa Rica a couple years ago. It was a wonderful trip, a beautiful and unusal place.

This is my motivation. I want to travel again. Now that the kid's are grown and gone, that shouldn't be difficult, should it? With a trip to NY looming in November (my niece is getting married), I'm ready to finish this thing.

I started my Sparks page in 2008. During that time, I lost a lot of lbs. My new goal is to get rid of the last 30 by the end of 2012.

My Goals:
Lose 30# before my niece's wedding in November.

My Program:
At this point, I'm cutting carbs to kill two birds with one stone (lose weight and keep my blood sugar under control). Exercise: A new gym membership and PT has me motivated. I'm doing 30 to 60 min of cardio every day and strength training four days a week--for the time being, anyway.

Personal Information:
I'm Ali, from Tucson, AZ. just turned 60, four kids, all grown, and one beautiful eight year old grandson who keeps me on the go.

Other Information:
I work full-time and write full-time... therefore, sit on my butt 15 hours a day.

Great to read your post on the May Roll Call! Sounds like joining the gym was just what you needed to do to shake things up with your exercise routine! Enjoy checking all those cardio classes out! Hope you have a wonderful birthday tomorrow!
