Life in Progress

Hello all!

I'm Akalei and a lot has changed since I last logged-in. The downside: I am up to about 350 pounds and have lost all the progress I did make. The upside: my life is better.

I have a new job now, as a floor manager for an independence local store. Its a much more supportive atmosphere, the owners genuinely care about their employees and whether or not they are healthy.

Hello all!

I'm Akalei and a lot has changed since I last logged-in. The downside: I am up to about 350 pounds and have lost all the progress I did make. The upside: my life is better.

I have a new job now, as a floor manager for an independence local store. Its a much more supportive atmosphere, the owners genuinely care about their employees and whether or not they are healthy.

I am also off of the medication that caused my rapid weight gain and made it impossible for me to loose weight. Unfortunately I have been off of it for a couple of months and still haven't seen a change in my weight but I am hopeful that it will occur soon.

The best news of all is that I am finally happy and maybe that was the first step I needed to take in this journey all along.
