Fabulous and fit at 50!
Back in 2005, I had lost over 100 pounds. I stopped paying attention to what I ate and stopped exercising. The results were inevitable. I gained back 80+ pounds. On October 19, 2009, I decided enough was enough and re-joined Weight Watchers. I have been eating probably better than ever, because in addition to reducing calories, I've been concentrating on healthier food choices. In December 2009, I decided to go solely with SparkPeople to get this weight off and keep it off. I also renewed my love/hate relationship with the FIRM. With my work schedule, commute and budget, a gym is out of the question. But I can work out any time I like at home with the FIRM. My fitness level has gone way up as my weight has gone down. I feel stronger than I have in years. 2010 is MY year to get back to goal and stay there for the rest of my life. I am very happy to report that I reached my goal on September 22, 2010. Onward to maintenance and a continued healthy life! My goal now is to maintain and pay it forward by helping as many people reach their goals as possible!

My Goals:
I moved from "obese" to "overweight" on the BMI charts on 5/19/10. I got out of the 160's on 6/23/10. I got out of the 150's on 8/11/10. As of 9/22/10, I have a "healthy" BMI. My workout goal is 5-6 times a week. My nutrition goal is to eat healthier, less-processed food and eat within all my nutrition ranges 6 times a week. Specifically, at least 5 fruits/veggies, 8 cups of water, within calorie, carbs, fat, protein ranges.
My Program:
In losing mode, I tracked my nutrition on SP. I no longer track, instead striving to eat mindfully with attention to whole foods and less processed foods. I track my fitness minutes and calories burned. I workout mostly by doing FIRM DVDs due to time and money constraints. They allow me to get the most out of my workout time.
