I will be successful!

Hi there! My name's Trish and I'm 47 years old. I've been on SP off and on for almost 4 years now. When I stay focused and track my calories I do great. However, the last two years I have not been able to focus at all. Between the death of my Mom and health issues I just put weight loss to the back burner of life. So of course I gained 20 or so of the 30 or so pounds I had originally lost back.

Instead of letting this set-back hold me back I am determined to be successful this ...

So of course I gained 20 or so of the 30 or so pounds I had originally lost back.

Instead of letting this set-back hold me back I am determined to be successful this year! I've joined an 8 week bootcamp class at a local gym to jumpstart my weight loss and exercise. I've cleaned out my cupboards to try and remove as much temptation from them as I can, and still keep my husband happy, lol.

I'm doing what I can to set myself up for success. Ready to make 2013 a great year!

Thanks for stopping by. They gave me a new modem on Thursday. Still not working. Also have a lot of static on my phone, can hardly hear on it. Probably a squirrel in a box somewhere.

No idea on how long a quarter cow lasts..... But my friend has a family of four and said 6 months..... So, it's just Tim and I.... So.... On top of how we already live., we should really be able to pay off some debt quickly.

Thanks for the friend add. I added you as well. Your horse is beautiful. I do ride my horse, but it has been a while. But I know she will be good when I get on her again. I also use a mounting block, when I can, I have short legs.

I had an app...we rescued him off the track. We were only blessed with him for 2 years. Still really hard to talk about him...but he lost his eye last year due to a severe puncture (long story short, if a boarder can't keep things safe, they shouldn't board. Poncho was the first injury in that run in and there's been 2 others since...but I left after the second and I'm not much of a fan of full care...)

Needless to say, after several weeks of not getting anywhere with Poncho's eye...we had to take him to New Bolton and they recommended taking the eye...which they did that day. It was a whirl wind kind of day. We, my husband and I left Poncho up there for 5 days...and we started looking for a new boarding facility.

We saw some real gems...

We found a great place a half hour from home that's a co-op and we love it. Unfortunately, there was a real bad storm this summer and Poncho was struck by lightening and passed away. I'm still so devastated by the whole ordeal. But, Poppys outcome could have not been so good if that hadn't happened.

I also had a Tonka...he was a mustang. I got him and found that he had laminitis. We fought it for several years...but...well...it was horrible. Tonka was our baby...not a veterinarian experiment...and we sent him home to rainbow bridge.

Poppy is really my hubby's...but, his argument for getting another TB, when my husbands riding experience is like a medium well stake...sigh...is that he would be like my second horse since Frank is 20 and his racing career seems to be catching up with that knee of his thee days. So, Poppy is loving that mommy likes the speed...and daddy is leisure...and Poppy knows that when mommy comes out alone, that it's time for he and I. When daddy and I come out...it's family time.

The weather here is turning cold tonight. Looks like it's getting down to 30...and then staying in the 30's and 20s and we're getting (???) snow showers tomorrow. Next weekend, the high will be 31... emoticon
